Using Surface Plasmon Resonance to measure the diffusion coefficient of biomolecules
The traineeship will focus on the measurement of the diffusion coefficient of various biomolecules (Serum albumin, insulin, etc.) by using a novel surface plasmon resonance technique recently developed in our lab. Different experimental conditions will be tested in order to investigate the changes of the diffusion coefficient parameter upon conformational and oligomerization transitions. The traineeship will focus on the measurement of the diffusion coefficient of various biomolecules (Serum albumin, insulin, etc.) by using a novel surface plasmon resonance technique recently developed in our lab.
