The main aim of the project is to produce geopolymers to be used in the building industry with excellent technological, economic and sustainable qualities, starting from geological raw materials or industrial waste materials from the Sicilian territory.

Today, the development of new eco-innovative and eco-friendly geopolymeric materials, usable in the entire construction chain and in the building sector through the innovation of formulations and / or in the production processes of traditional building materials, represents a fundamental prerogative, also recognized by European organizations.

The products and technologies developed will be tested and developed by the industrial partners involved in the project to produce building materials with high thermal insulation capacity or insulating panels for the energy efficiency of buildings.
