"DifferenziaTI" Contest

As part of the permanent campaign on environmental, economic and social sustainability "Think sustainable", Unict launches the "DifferenziATI" contest.

Why?

• having respect for the environment in which you study or work;

• preserving our collective health;

• making our spaces cleaner;

• creating a virtuous circle of resources.

What is it about?

Starting in January 2024, the percentage of sorted waste produced in each department and in all administrative areas will be calculated. Every month a ranking of the most "sustainable" facilities will be compiled, and at the end of 2024 the most virtuous facility will be elected.

Prizes

The competition covers all facilities but there will be 2 rankings: for departments and teaching facilities, and for administrative areas.

Among the facilities that will have recycled their waste the best, the most virtuous department will be rewarded with new sustainable outdoor spaces (which can be equipped with benches, solar charging shelters, sorted waste bins, bike racks) expressly dedicated to our student community.

The new sustainable outdoor spaces will be chosen with the support of those who live the spaces on a daily basis.
