Registration Open For EUNICE Course on "Global Studies" in Spain
Registrations are open for EUNICE’s blended intensive programme course, “Introduction to Global Studies”, which will take place between 4th and 15th July 2022.
This Summer Course will prepare students to understand how globalisation has affected the way in which we analyse different disciplines nowadays, such as business, migrations, arts, health or environmental issues.
Immersion Pack
For an enhanced experience, this year students from universities of EUNICE Alliance have available an Immersion Pack funded by the European Commission to facilitate students’ mobility. The 2021 edition was an online programme due to the pandemic, but in 2022 it will take place in a hybrid format -in person too-, coordinated by the University of Cantabria.
By registering in the Immersion Pack as well, EUNICE Students have the opportunity to experience the real Spanish lifestyle and stay with a local family in Santander for only 300 euros for the whole period. The Immersion Pack also includes a full-day trip to Picos de Europa National Park.
Deadline
Students can apply for this course until May 13 at their International Relations Office. The “Introduction to Global Studies” course will be taught in a hybrid format – online and in-person - and will bring eight lecturers from the following institutions: University of Mons (Belgium), University of Catania, University of Cantabria – all of them EUNICE Alliance members-, and University of North Caroline at Charlotte (USA).
The only pre-requisite to enrol in this course is to be a student registered in one of the EUNICE Alliance universities and to demonstrate a B2 Level of English, the language the lectures will be offered in. The course is free for EUNICE students and they can also apply for Erasmus funding for travelling expenses at their own International Relations Office.
